Dr. Kieckbusch was raised in Reno. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno obtaining a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine graduating with his M.D. in 1998. Dr. Kieckbusch then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he did his orthopaedic training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Kieckbusch joined Sierra Orthopedics in 2003. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is an associate professor with the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Kieckbusch practices general orthopaedics with the exception of spinal injury. He is married and the father of two children. His hobbies include hunting and fishing plus many other activities.
