| Laurence R. McClish, M.D. Dr. McClish spent his youth in Chester, Calif., near Mt. Lassen. He attended the University of California, Davis, where he played football for the Cal Aggies. Dr. McClish then attended Medical School at the University of California, San Francisco, where he earned an M.D. degree. An internship at UC Irvine followed. Dr. McClish became a flight surgeon for two years during the Vietnam years. He then accepted an orthopedic surgery residency affiliated with Loma Linda University in Los Angeles. Upon completion of this residency Dr. McClish established his practice in Reno, Nevada. He received his board certification and then joined the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 1980. Dr. McClish is a member of the Arthroscopic Association of North America. His interests in orthopedics include pediatric orthopedics, joint reconstruction, sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, and orthopedic foot pathology. Dr. McClish is married and is the father of two children. His hobbies include reading scripture and playing golf. |
